On June 30th 2011, Bits In Glass completed the 2011 Fiscal Year End with a continuation of strong financial results. Year-over-year revenue growth is more than 20%, marking the fourth straight year of solid growth. Bits In Glass advances in the Western Canadian marketplace with our clients in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia and the addition of more than a dozen new high profile clients. We continue to focus on our core verticals of Public Sector, Gaming, Energy and Financial Services by delivering Business Solutions and Consulting Services that reduce costs and increase client agility by leveraging modern technologies and proven methods.
On June 30th Bits In Glass completed its 2010 Fiscal Year End and we are pleased to announce that we have had our best year to date with year-over-year revenue growth of more than 40%. This marks the third straight year of solid growth. Bits In Glass has taken another strong step forward in the Western Canadian marketplace with clients in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Vice-President of Sales, Lee Mainman stated "We are extremely happy with the progress we have made over the last year in what has been one of the most difficult global and Canadian economic climates. We have set aggressive growth plans for the next few years and are confident in our ability to execute on this."
Bits In Glass, along with their partner Fujitsu Consulting, are proud to announce the successful completion of the Straight Hail Portal project for Agriculture Financial Services Corporation. The Straight Hail application was built using Oracle's WebCenter Portal, Oracle Access Manager and WebLogic Server.
Working under tight time frames, the Bits In Glass/Fujitsu team delivered a high quality application on schedule for our client. Senior Architect, Patrick Golec lead the development effort and said "This was a total team effort on everyone's part. Between the customer team, Fujitsu and our Bits In Glass crew, we all pulled together to make this happen."
Bits In Glass becomes the Red Hat SOA Platform partner for Canada. As an Advanced Business Partner for Red Hat's JBoss Middleware offering Bits in Glass has brought its technical depth and expertise in the Service Oriented Architecture space to help clients implement and optimize SOA solutions. Now Bits In Glass will be the lead partner for Red Hat's Service Oriented Architecture platform known as SOA-P.
Bits In Glass partners with Alfresco on their Enterprise Content Management solution. The Gold Partner status with Alfresco brings a premier Content Management solution to the Bits In Glass Open Source line of business. Along with their Red Hat partnership, Alfresco positions Bits In Glass as a strong consulting and development solution provider in the Open Source space.
Bits In Glass wins RFP and signs three year contract with Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) to provide Service Oriented Architecture consulting expertise. Bits In Glass will be assisting AGLC in realizing their strategy for migrating their gaming platforms to a Service Oriented Architecture based environment.
Bits In Glass renews agreement with the City of Edmonton to provide Business Process Management resources. For the second consecutive year, Bits In Glass has been successful in its RFP response to become one of the preferred suppliers of resources for Business Process improvement initiatives within the City of Edmonton.
